The British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce is a NGO whose mission it is to bring British, Estonian and other business communities together. The BECC has been around since 1996.
Today the BECC is one of the biggest and most active international business organisations of its kind in Estonia. The BECC is considered as a strong and influential brand.
The BECC is a member of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Continental Europe (COBCOE) and has good cooperation with the Association of British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), thus having access to the services of these organisations. The BECC is also a member of FICE (Foreign Investors Council in Estonia).
The BECC Mission as stated in the Articles is 4-fold:
a) To provide discussion between the companies and private individuals from the United Kingdom and Estonia in order to share and disseminate information and ideas.
b) To promote and stimulate business and other connections between the countries.
c) To keep contact with the United Kingdom and Estonia and with other important structures to facilitate business affairs.
d) To advertise the services offered by corporate and individual members of the NPG.
