  This trade mission takes Estonian tech businesses to explore Edinburgh during Fintech Scotland 2018

Tuesday, 18th of September 2018:

  • 12:30 Gathering at Tallinn Airport;

  • 13:55-17:50 Flight from Tallinn to Edinburgh;

  • 18:00-19:00 Arrival to Edinburgh. Check-in to hotel;

  • 20:00-22:00 Dinner and whisky tasting at Scotch Malt and Whisky Society:

We hereby invite delegates to join together for a unique whisky tasting and three course meal experience at the private members club Scottish Malt Whisky Society. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is a club unlike any other. As well as being a place to connect with other like-minded whisky lovers. Great food and a fun journey of discovery of the world's widest collection of single cask whiskies.

Wednesday, 19th of September 2018:

Fintech 2018 will explore technological innovation across the financial services sector, from developments in established tier-1 firms to the disruptive innovators within the start-up community that are reshaping the FS market.

  • 15:00-17:00 Private one-to-one meetings with Royal Bank of Scotland representatives to privately pitch and introduce your products and services to overcome these challenges. Exact schedule TBC;

  • 17:00-18:30 TBC. Drinks reception at the venue for the Fintech18 conference attendees;

  • 19:00-21:30 Private event. Codebase meet up with Peter Ferry – the Estonian Honorary Consul in Edinburgh:

The Estonian Honorary Consul is IT industry executive Peter Ferry, who is a founder of the technology company Wallet.Services. With his strong connection to Estonia, the Honorary Consul is eagerly promoting the digital and industry links between Estonia and Scotland. Meetup takes place at CodeBase, the largest technology incubator in the UK and one of the fastest growing in Europe.

Edinburgh's only purpose built comedy venue. Five acts on a two-hour stand-up showcase. Featuring the ace comperes, the best headliners on the circuit, several support acts and a short spot for a newcomer.

Friday, 21st of September 2018:

  • 08:00 Gathering at the hotel lobby. Taxis to the airport;

  • 10:05 Flight back from Edinburgh to Tallinn;

  • 20:35 Arrival in Tallinn.
