Starting: Unlimited range balls available from 12:30
Pre-tournament meeting at 13:15 at the range (please be there on time or you’ll miss the toast!)
Shotgun start at 13:30 Please give yourself time to walk to your tee!
Format: FLORIDA SCRAMBLE (4-player teams); all four players tee off, the best shot is selected, then only the three other players (whose balls were not selected) hit their second shots. The best of the second shots is selected - and the player who hit it sits out the third shots; and so on until the ball is holed…
- A minimum of 3 tee-shots from each player must be used.
- Each player can buy a mulligan at the tee on the 1st, 5th, 10th +14th. Mulligans are for tee shots only. Cost €10 per mulligan which will all go the BECC charity fund.
Tees: Men: yellow tees Ladies: red tees
HCP calculation: Non-qualifying round
Categories: The tournament will be held in one category with the minimum age limit being 18. Scoring will stableford and based on a team handicap that will be assigned by the BECC+EGCC. Minimum combined team HCP is 36. PGA professionals are not allowed to participate.
Decider ties: Ties for the first place will be solved according to the team that bought the most mulligans
Prizes: 2 best teams will be awarded and there will be some special prizes too.
Competitions for individual holes, business card lottery and the best dressed team will be awarded separately:
Registration: Registration is available through the BECC website exclusively from BECC and FICE members until 8th May 12:00. From 8th May registration will be open to EGCC members.
Award ceremony: Awards ceremony will be held approximately an hour after the round (at dinner)
Catering: Buffet will be served following the tournament at about 18:00
